Many of you who followed my breeding journey (https://talkbudgies.com/breeding-jour...rmes-izzy.html
) over the summer know that I got to keep one of the chicks. But I thought that I would formally introduce him to the everybody!
Echo is the 4th of 5 chicks and is the one that loved human attention the most. From the time he was little he loved head scratches and snuggling in your hand- he's "too old" for snuggles now but he still loves head scratches
As far as mutation, I do believe he is a fullbody (?) greywing cobalt sf dominant pied. He is split for recessive pied, cinnamon & opaline. Correct me if I'm wrong?
His mom, Izzy, is a cinnamon opaline grey recessive pied.
His dad, Hermes, is a sf goldenface cobalt sf dominant pied fullbody greywing.
Echo was laid June 29 (my dad's birthday) and hatched July 21. I named him after one of my favorite movies, Jurassic World, and Greek mythology to go along with Herm's name. My goal is to teach him a few tricks and to talk but we shall see if he picks it up
