Hi everybody I am extremally glad to be a part of this group. I have a background on owning budgies, however I still find myself as a newbie, since I was only 10 when I had some budgies. Most of the time my parents were the ones taking care of them and I never had the interest on learning, observing and studying them.
Recently I moved out to Croatia and felt the need to have a pet so around 3 weeks ago I got Pringles as a gift from my girlfriend. It didn't take him much to get used to the cage, I usually play some videos on YouTube of budgies singing to make him relax. Honestly I already feel that I accomplished something because he is already letting me pet him!
Last Sunday I got a new one and a female this time. Her name I Nana. I DID make the HUGE mistake of not making the quarantine and already putting her straight in the cage. I hope I won't have problems and I will try to use this as a lesson.
When I was at the store I didn't notice how taller she was compared to Pringles. I still don't know the age of both of them, however by looking at her behaviors and listening to her sing it looks like she younger them Pringles.
I am very happy with my new friends even tho, I still have lots to learn!
