Well, I figured I should probably introduce my other 2 loves: Tessa and Bella. As always, expect many many pictures
is my special little horse. She's a 2006 14.3hh Red Dun Tobiano APHA. Her registered name is Orange Crush Kitty. I wrote a list of what my dream horse would be (I wanted a horse my entire life and, 15 years later, I got my Tess-Tess) and Tessa matches everything
on that list down to her facial markings. She's named after one of my favorite book series (no surprise there)The Infernal Devices. Though Tessa is a sweet little mare, she still has plenty
of sass. She loves to roll and has earned the nickname "Tess Mess" as she's always dirty. She's picking up Dressage very well and is doing great learning to jump. She's great on trails and I love riding her bareback. You can see a lot of her personality shine through on the pictures below. Any one else have horses?
I will show off her elegant side first:
Her sassy side
Her goofy, sweet side
And last but definitely not least, her dirty side
Note her dorsal stripe in this picture- love it so much!
She's really just like a big dog
No roll's complete without a good shake...
is my little shadow. She's a Schnoodlepoo (75% poodle 25% Schnauzer). We do everything together: rollerblading, agility, snuggling, art, etc. She knows pretty much every trick you could teach a dog. Her favorites are bowling and playing the piano. I actually trained her similarly as I would train a horse. This was especially helpful in rollerblading since she knew vocal cues and could neck rein using the leash
My little Snowmobile
She knows how to keep warm in cold weather
