I got this recipe from Flock Talk on YouTube. I'll try to post the link below but if it doesn't work, it's easy to find.
These are the ingredients used in the video, but you can substitute any to suit your birds tastes or what you have on hand (that's bird safe of course).
1/2 cup dried apricots
3 dried apple slices
6 dried chilli peppers
1 tsp flax seeds
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp pumpkin seeds
1/8 cup almonds
A few goji berries
1 tsp hemp hearts
2 tsp oats
Blend apricots until mushy.
Add apple slices to apricot mixture and blend.
Add flax seeds, chia seeds & pumpkin seeds & blend.
Add almonds & blend.
Add goji berries & blend.
Add hemp hearts & oats & blend.
* Mixture should be sticky enough to hold together when rolled into balls. If too wet or dry, add extra ingredients to correct.
Roll into balls and cook for 5 minutes on 325 degrees fahrenheit or 160 degrees celsius.

Poor Lemon Drop does not get homemade treats yet because her owner is mean (or just too busy and stressed most of the time). I may have to hunt up the ingredients for this and see what she thinks. Because of where I live (middle of nowhere), it will truly be a hunt.
I bet Peanut and JoJo are going to be thrilled!
You’re very welcome! I’m in the same boat you are as far as needing to hunt for the ingredients. I made them some different treats yesterday but they turned their beaks up at them.
