They've settled in so well, some of my more nosey birds were right over to introduce themselves! They are all very calm aswell and haven't been too fussed by me man handling them for their health...

The symptoms do match that of psittacosis. Having dealt with psittacosis in my flock before I can also confirm that some birds do not show any symptoms of it but can carry and shed it for years...

Hmm you could use a tiny paintbrush. The type used for watercolour painting, the really fine ones? You should be able to get one drop on that and use that to get it onto the bird.

Ah do you mean a steam cleaner? I have a steam cleaner I use on my cages for a good deep clean. Make sure the birds are nowhere near the cage when you do it though as it gets hot.

He needs to see an avian vet asap. Try calling around different vets and see if you can get an emergency appointment.
