It took a couple weeks for preening and there is still some chasing. I don't worry as long as it isn't violent and the male is getting to eat enough.
Sometimes he has to wait his turn or go to a...

Little steps

Angel has been separated for a few days now and is doing really well. Seems happy and plays all the time.

I've been working with her, just hanging out and talking to her or eating next to her...

As long as there is no real biting, I say wait it out. Hens are the bossy ones and they just need to figure pecking order so to speak.
I got a male for my girls awhile back, they have been together...

Thank you @Sim, I pretty much expected that to be the answer. I originally had just Stella and Angel, Stella was very gregarious and constantly tried to interact with angel. Eventually Angel got sick...

Separation, permanent?

I've mentioned before about my girls bickering a lot. Since then I have introduced a male into the mix which seemed to help some as the antisocial angel got a reprieve from so much attention.

The...

That is the worst chop job I've ever seen. Please don't take her back to the breeder again if you want her clipped, find a competent person to do it.

Hopefully she doesn't have any damage to her...

What do you think of these pellets?

I have a variety of pellets, zupreem, lafeber, harrisons and this stuff. These are there favorite, followed by zupreem. They don't seem to like the lafeber at all and barely nibble the harrisons.

She doesn't neccesarily...

You are overthinking it and I'm not sure why you would want her small. She has to make eggs, you want her to be big and healthy. A tiny petite female could get egg bound.

If the breeder gave you...
