Server Move

Please be advised we will be moving onto a new server today. We do not expect any disruption in service during this time but if you do encounter any issues during this time please let us know by posting in this thread.

In addition to all the issues I outlined in the PMs I sent to the VS Team earlier today, some of the posts I've made on threads have now disappeared. :eek:

Will those posts eventually reappear or do the have to be re-written and re-posted?

Myself and other members have reported posts and some threads written in the last 24 hours to be disappeared. I'm not sure if it's all posts in the last 24 hours or if it's random ones, but either way it's dreadfully inconvenient.

Please let us know what you can do to solve this matter!

I've made a thread to announce to members that there are missing threads and posts due to the move of the forum to a new server. :oops:

I've indicated those will need to be re-posted since we've not hear otherwise from the Vertical Scope Team.

Apologies for the delay in response - I'm running a thread rebuild in the back end in hopes that this will restore those missing threads/posts.

This can sometimes be a lengthy process (up to hours) so I will check in later when that is complete to let you guys know and for you to clear your cache/cookies then refresh to see that everything is back.

If your post/thread is still missing, please let us know the title of it if you remember, the post/thread content and which forum/section you had posted it in. It may also be useful if you remember the day/time you had posted it - at least a rough estimate.

I've responded in the other thread as well. Thank you for your patience and understanding on this.

Hi Nate

In case youíre not aware, Iíd just like to mention another potential issue.

If I attempt to access the talkbudgies site on my iPhone, I get an initial message bar in red stating Ďan error has occurred. Type error Xí, this bar then changes to a green loading bar .... and remains loading.

In case it makes a difference to your diagnosing, my phone has the latest iOS update and I have tried to access the site both on 4G and Home WiFi.

Maybe this is just a temporary situation whilst youíre carrying out maintenance, just thought it worth mentioning as the site appears as normal when accessed via my iPad.

Itís safari, though just also tried with google chrome and itís the same.

To confirm, you've tried with both Safari and Chrome on your iPhone (which has iOS11)? Can you take a screenshot of the error you are seeing with the continuously loading?

Also, is this the initial part of accessing the site or are you already within the full or enhanced mobile version?
