took this the other day, i was going to get the cutest photo of Dink perching sideways on the branch, he slipped just as i took the picture and i ended up with this instead haha

I was shooting the flock chowing down on the vege mash and didnt even know I had a flight shot untill I was going through the pictures after I uploaded them

These are my first ever wildlife flying pics. I got the first two by accident, the last one was by designed and I am pretty happy with how it turned out.

Pukeko (nz swamp hen).
We hardly ever see these guys flying. Usually they just strut their stuff around the edges of the water.


White-faced Heron.
I love the composition of this pic, so wish I had the camera set for a flying shot :(


A lone swallow.
The only one where I was purposely taking a flying shot. These little guys flit around all over the place and I love how this pic turned out.
