Hello and welcome to the forums!!

Congratulations on your new budgie, s/he is gorgeous! They are about 6-8 months old (definitely under 9 months) as they do not have irises yet and have not moulted their baby bars yet.

As for gender, the cere looks pink in the photo (which normally indicates young male) but it also looks kind of flat and washed out due to the lighting and angle. Do you have more photos taken at various angles which are in-focus and taken in natural light?

Meanwhile, you’ve come to a great place to learn even more about the best of budgie care practices! Please be sure to read through the forums’ many budgie articles and “stickies” to ensure you’re up to date on everything. If you have any questions after doing so, please be sure to ask as we’d love to help~

Hope to see you around~

Your baby boy is beautiful! Judging from my experience, I believe he is somewhere between 4-6 months. What is his name?

Thanks! His name is "Hrumchyk", or "Crunchy" if translate. My 6 years old sun named him. In pet store says that he is 35 days, i am new to have budgie so belived. Did he will easy be tamed at this age?

I highly doubt that he is 35 days, given that he already has halfway lost the 'baby bars' on his forehead, which indicates that at a minimum, he is 3.5 months old, if not 4. Any budgie can be tamed with the right steps. However, some budgies with a history of abuse may be really difficult to tame, if not downright impossible.
Yes, petshop sellers often don't say birds age. One want to sell me male budgie with no strips, blue beak and white iris like 2,5 month. I hope that Hrumchyk has good treatment before
If the bird has a blue cere and no stripes on the forehead, then that bird is at least 6 months old.
Yes, and seller said - "yes, this is just his patern color, they all was purchased from breeder as 2,5 month", and there in cage was mix of more old budgies and budgies with stripes. Actually i am glad that i have buy Hrumchyk in another store at least 4-6 moth age for my first bird and not too old
He's beautiful :) He's a male! And as I mentioned in my original post, he appears to be between 6-8 months old. I would say closer to 6 months ;)
