Almost bedtime for the birdies!

Here's the budgies this evening. Elsa's getting her snack on, and Gilbert is being a little goofball. He really likes the new way I've set up the baby rings. It's like a swing-perch hybrid!

They look like they know snooze time is coming. Mine just went down at the top of the hour, they get light 9 to 9. I must commend you on a nice clean looking cage....good job...:)
Thank you, Randy! Elsa's hogging the hanging treat and Gilbert is patiently waiting his turn. He's checked out the pellets, but I don't think he's eaten any. The clear container by the cuttlebone has a thin layer of pellets, and the green container above it has a little bit of seed. And the two containers over by the swing have water. After school I offer them greens in the green container by the swing, but the little sillies haven't tried them so far. Maybe tomorrow :)

Sound's like a good set up. They will get going on the pellet's...:)
I'm just so relieved that Elsa has finally figured out how to get back in the cage without my help! Im glad she seems a lot happier now that she's caged with Gilbert. Do pellets spoil? I put them in this morning, but I'm not sure if I should throw them out and break up new ones in the morning.

I have left pellet's in for 2 or 3 day's with no ill effect's. I would just put a real small amount in, and that will also make it easier to see if they are eating them...:)
I love budgie bedtime and how they grab a snack first and they fight over a perch
I make sure to break up enough so that they cover the bottom of the dish. Thanks for recommending Roudybush! I'm sure once they're completely converted they'll be much healthier.a After they're weaned off of seeds, I may try to offer them sprouts.
Some seed is fine a varied diet is the best :D
They look very happy and content :)
