I would like to bring attention to one of our TB members who also happens to be a moderator. From the first day I joined this awesome forum and, to this date, this genuine person has never ceased to amaze me with her knowledge on budgie health and her willingness to help anyone and everyone who has ever had a medical question or problem with their Budgies.

As moderators we are not allowed to receive special awards like other members on this site, but if we were, whatever the highest medical, nurse, Doctor, health or care of Budgie award we could come up with, it would be awarded to Jo Ann.

I make sure to read anything that Jo Ann posts, and I have said before I wish she were my neighbor so I could learn more from her each day. I hope she is here forever so if the need ever arises she will be here to assist me and all others with the well being of our flocks. I have learned a lot about budgie care and how to be prepared from all of her posts, and I for one, would like to recognize the quality of advice and care that she shares with us all to help keep our budgies in the best possible health and well being.

Jo Ann is the Princess of Budgie Kingdom.
She is simply amazing. And she deserves this mention. She is a very popular name among my family members as well. Everyone knows Jo Ann as the budgie "Encyclopedia" who renders the best advice possible.

I'm so happy to see Jo Ann receiving recognition for her selfless kindness, compassion and generosity of spirit in sharing her knowledge with members of our Talk Budgies community! :jumping:

We are all quite fortunate to have a member with the experience and knowledge Jo Ann possesses.

In the time I have known her, she has guided many of us through countless crises with our budgies -- doing so with a grace and love that is equaled by none.

We are even more blessed to have her as one of our excellent Super Moderators who devote many hours of their time to this community as unpaid volunteers.

Jo Ann, I just want to add my thanks for all you have done and continue to do.

I'll mention the countless times I had some questions on budgie's health, when my budgies weren't dealing with a problem, and even when they were. I had a terrible cold caused by a virus and Jo Ann helped me with her advice. And when I lost my Phillip, she was there to give me some comfort, I still remember her post.
Thank you Jo Ann for those things you offered to me and the members of this community and for the things you're still offering.

Jo Ann you rock! You seem to have such a depth of knowledge and insight into all things budgies.

However, knowledge without wisdom and kindness is nothing and you have wisdom and kindness in bucketloads as well.

Wow!! Thank you each and every Parent and Birdy. I am all but hiding my head under the carpet. Just trying to give back thank you to all of the wonderful people have been so kind to me over a life time. Striving to bring peace and love among all of us instead of fighting first. Spread your love one to another across this globe. Is this not just amazing that Juhi is my neighbor in

Rick I don't no how I missed this post but I hope I am not to late to congratulate JoAnn for doing a great job she is always there to help everyone. I am proud to call JoAnn my friend and a friend we can trust. Hears to many many more posts. You are always there making a comment or a like when I post photos or videos of Indi you are so nice. I can only add my agreement to everything - Jo Ann rocks! Her knowledge that she selflessly shares is just awesome and has undoubtedly saved a LOT of budgies, and made their Mama's and Papa's feel so much more confident and better. :thumbsup:
