this is the thread where people can post their answers and their guesses for this thread
http://www.talkbudgies.com/showthread.php?t=48336

think the easiest format to post the correct answer would be

ANSWER
Post number (whatever the post number is for your pictures on the other thread
Then your answer

Just will make it a tad easier ;)

If you are guessing, put
Guess
at the top, so people dont get confused.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far :)

yeah you did pretty good. im not sure you should compare your guesses to mine, they probably arent right. this is a great idea for a thread though, the threads where the experts answer arent good for guessing because you can see the answer right there. i did miss opaline in the first guess i made, looking at teshas post in the other thread (i looked back at the photo and shes right). i always miss opaline when i guess stufd lol

yeah, you're right, you also feel like you "shouldnt" answer if you arent good and are just guessing.
at the minute, i still have my little mutations page
http://www.***************/colorsguide.html

open at the side and guess then check there.
its difficult coz they can be so many in one!!

cant wait to start breeding, it should be fun ;)

ooh are you goind to breed them? id love to breed budgies, and have a big aviary with heaps of budgies, then a few breeding cages for the pairs, then also have cookie and sodapop still in my room as my "pet" ones. then again now that i have a big cage i could get girlfriends for cookie and sodapop and breed them, but i dont want them to be with untame budgies and i couldnt be bothered taming more. lol i bookmarked that page when i was trying to figure out cookie and sodapops mutations, thats why i joined the site actually, for help with that.

yeah. i cant wait :)
im really excited.

im picking up 2 females on tuesday - an opaline cinnamon olive and a df blue spangle. the spangle is gonna go with niebo and breed. the cinnamon is gonna be with laska but i dont think im gonna breed those 2 - i havent decided yet. they arent old enough at the minute, so i cant start straight away. but next year i'll start :D

lol. i loved taming them, so i dont mind. i like having a project, for want of a better word. lol.

you could by 2 babies that are already tame?

its a really good site. i've learned a lot - i am getting around 50% of my guesses right at the minute, so im getting better :D if you type into google "budgie mutation test" the first link has 19 pictures to guess. and nev is one of the people that posted the answer! :)

haha yes im not a patient sort of person. it took me sooooo long to tame cookie and sodapop, i am quite reluctant to ever buy more. it would be cool to get a tame baby though. the other thing is the quarantine, mum would probably not want birds outside of my room and well she porbably wouldnt want me breeding them either.

That's ok. I like to try and figure out what people say by myself. I'm just getting the hang of the language of budgie genetics. =)
