Hi there and :welcome: to the forums!

Your budgies are very cute :) However, the photos you posted are not good to tell gender from. Since they were taken with a flash, it washes out the true colour of the cere, making it often impossible to tell which gender your birds are.

For accurate photos, be sure to take clear, in-focus and up close photos of each bird's cere taken in natural light.

Meanwhile, be sure to read through the forum's many Budgie Articles and "stickies" (threads "stuck" to the top of each subform for easy reference) to ensure you're up to date on all the best practices for budgie care!

If you have any questions after reading through everything, be sure to ask as we'd love to help :D

We look forward to seeing you around the forums!

Cheers!

Hi :welcome:

As stated above, you'll find a ton of essential information on Talk Budgies on the current practices for keeping budgies happy and healthy. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the resources here, by taking a look at the Stickies posts located at the top area of the major forum sections. Also our Articles section has more great information . In these sections, you'll find the answers to many of the more basic and common questions.

We always recommend that pictures to determine gender are taken in good natural lighting, close and clear enough. As FaeryBee and StarlingWings said, the flash does wash out accurate color, but from these pics my guess is two females. Their ceres 'appear' to be a very light blue with a chalky white color around most of it. If so, that's typical of young females. Please submit new photos so that we can have accurate color.

Thanks, and enjoy the forum :)!
