Hello,
I am a bit confused as whenever I offer my budgie some fruit or veg from my hand, she will lick or nibble the fruit or veg before nibbling me. No matter how far away my hand is, she will stretch to reach it. Basically, I was just wondering if this was something to be concerned about... She doesn't fluff up her feather or make and noise whilst she does this. Is she just checking me out or is she trying to bite me?
Any help would be greatly appreciated 😁

Are the bites hard or are they simply very gentle nibble?

It sounds as though she is simply "preening" your hand or finger.

If she is trying to bite you, she will take a good chomp of your hand or finger.
