Welcome to the forums! :) Your Bebop is beautiful, thank you for sharing the photos!

By the way, what colour is your Bebop's cere? From the photos it looks whitish to me and if that is the case, then he is a budgie girl.

@aluz: His cere is light purple up close! Theres a liiiittle bit of pink by the nostrils and a little bit of blue by the bottom. He's an androgynous little budge.
From your description then your Bebop really is a boy.
If he is over 1 year old and has kept the immature colour on the cere, then he is likely split for recessive pied. I notice his feet are also pink in colour and there seems to not be any iris development on the eyes and this would further prove Bebop's recessive pied heritage.

He just turned 1 a month ago! And yes, he's a greywing mutation to be exact!

Indeed, Bebop is a light green greywing budgie! :)
Two of my very own chicks that are now grown have the same colours as your Bebop. You can see them on my signature pic (Tito Junior and Luigi).

Hey Kelli and :welcome: to the forums!

Beebop is such a cutie, and he definitely is a curious little bird ;)

You've come to the right place to learn and expand your knowledge on budgie care :D

Along with some great advice, you've also been offered some excellent links to read, and if you have any questions after that, please be sure to ask as we'd be happy to help :)

Be sure to stick around and don't hesitate to post any and all pictures of your gorgeous little guy--we'd love to meet the new budgie, too!

In case you didn't know, your new little budgie should be quarantined from Beebop in a separate cage and room for a minimum of 45 days because budgies hide illnesses very well. The new budgie could be carrying a sickness that might spread to little Beebop.

Hope to see you around, glad you've joined us!

I love him to pieces! Thank you so much I'm happy to be here. Sabo (his baby brother has been quarantined for 2 months (my roomie also has two birds so we have been very careful) and we just recently started introducing them the other week! Bebop is a little bit too intense for the sweet baby so they are still in separate rooms.
