I think dad was hiding recessive pied - Mom had a 50/50 chance of being split to it - so it is a possibility I now have dad set up to a visual Normal I don't know her background but Where i got her at there were A LOT of Visual recessive pieds so its a good chance she's split - which I am hoping she is only thing that will make it a bit hard to tell is dad is Dominant pied :/

the Parents of these 2 are Bandit (male) and Mystic
Bandit is either yf 2 or Golden face( I am leaning more towards golden face) - Blue (still can't figure out if he's sky blue or cobalt though lol) Double Factor Dominant pied Split to Grey wing

Mystic - Yellow Face type 1 Sky blue split to Grey wing Possibly split for Recessive pied

This is from their second clutch I had no issues figuring out the 1st clutch :)

Both are Yellow Face - One being Type 1 the other is type 2 or Golden face like his dad - He's looking A lot like his dad actually as he's growing up

This is the one I Think is also Recessive pid and not just Dominant (or DF) Pied she looks identical to my other Dominant Recessive pied which is her aunt

She is a yellow face type 1 but the yellow is so light my cameras wash it out and make her look pure white with the blue rump - she has no color on her front side at all just on her rump, has very little markings as well(just like her Aunt)

Pic from Yesterday

now on to her Brother- I know he's a DF dominant pied and I'm really leaning towards Golden face for the same reason as I am with his dad - the face is extremely darker than the body and it seems every Golden face I've seen has been like that

He also has no color on his belly that's the only big difference between him and his dad :)

I have a few more pics of him than his sister he's easier to take pics of hers comes out blurry more than anything

this one was as he was molting a couple weeks ago and I just liked how his colors looked but it does show how much he's changed from this to the above one from Yesterday :)

and the Parents

Bandit

Mystic * note the lack of iris rings - they are there but hard to see - at almost 3 years old they should NOT be hard to see ;) *

Would it be safe to say that the 1st one pictured (the one who looks pure white) that she is in fact Both Dominant and Recessive pied visually?

I did notice her brother and the other 2 they live with (different parents and a few months older) all are getting iris rings - she isn't (another way I knew her Aunt was both visually she never got iris rings)

and since I keep saying she looks like her Aunt - just to help with the visual - Here is her Aunt - Topaz

Thank you all

these are actually up for sale along with 1 other from the same parents - they had a 3rd clutch even though I tried to stop it she had laid 1 egg before these 2 were out of the nest So i removed the male Figuring I'd find 1 more egg - Well these 2 were doing good eating on their own so I took them out and put them in a cage of their own and went to take her out to my surprise 4 eggs 2 of which looked fertile so I kept those 2 and gave them to a English Pair that had been working the nest both hatched but the 1st one died - I think the English hen may of sat a little to hard (As far as I know she's never been a mom before) but she raised the 2nd one up and did a great job at it . That one is a Violet Dominant pied. and since I kept the Violet Dom. pied that was a clutch mate to these 2 I didn't need another so she/he is up for sale too. and 2 others from different parents but I know their mutations they were easy ones The male is a yf Cobalt , the female is a yf Cobalt clear flight pied Both split grey wing lol

Thank You :) Bandit got his name because of the markings on his head/face he looks like he's wearing a mask like Bandits (robbers) used to back in the olden days LOL
