Do you have a picture of the male? That would help us.

I don't know how an Iphone works, but I'm sure you can ask someone to help you. We really would like to see your birds.

You could try emailing the photos to yourself and open the photos on the computer through your email than upload it to photobucket? or you can upload it here directly. But bear in mind that you need to edit your photo so that it meets the standard requirement on the site. which is about 500kb if I didn't remember wrongly. The photos that my iphone4 photo takes approximately 2 or 3 mb which means your iphone 5 photos definitely needs to be edited before you can upload directly to the site.

Or you can plug your phone to your computer. Assuming that you are using windows 7, when you open my computer, you will see a iphone device on the side of the screen. Click on it. enter the dcim folder. If there is another folder, enter again. Eventually you will get to the photos there. Than you can upload it to photobucket or to the site.

Hope this helps.

Male clearflighted pied cobalt?

Do you have a clearer photo? The body color looks blue yet looks mauve at some angle. Makes me feel a little confuse.

I still can't say if it is a clearflight or a dominant pied - I think it is a dom pied, but I know the bird is an Opaline and the colour looks like mauve - maybe with some violet.
Why don't you PM Lindsey (cutelilbirdies) and ask her to visit this thread. She is very good at identifying mutations.

A mauve violet opaline sf dominant pied :)

If you paired him to your ino hen (assuming she is just masking light green, and not split for anything which is unlikely ) you would expect all dark green chicks split for blue. Half of the chicks would be sf dominant pied like the dad. The females would be opaline, and the males all split for opaline and ino. Some of the chicks would be violet too, but it is harder to see on green than blue.
