The male is a normal dark green, and the female a opaline dilute light green.

If neither are split for anything you can expect:

50% light green normals split dilute.
50% dark green normals split for dilute.
All of the males will be split opaline.

Are they your birds or your friends? Your thread description says they are your birds, and the thread itself says they are a friends?

I hope that is just a cage to take pictures in too, birds that do not have enough room to exercise (30x18x18 is the smallest you want for a cage for 2 budgies) will be very poor breeders and be in poor heath themselves :)

50% light green normals split dilute.
50% dark green normals split for dilute.
All of the males will be split opaline.
Will the males be dark green or light green?

And when you say: "50% light green normals split dilute.
50% dark green normals split for dilute." Do you mean females?

Sorry if my questions seem dumb

Your questions are not dumb. Half of all the chicks will be dark green/dilute and the other half will be light green/dilute with the males being split to opaline as well
