From sculpting to baking to sanding and priming it's taken me about an hour and a half. I imagine after the primer is done drying it'll be another 30 mins to an hour of painting before I'm all finished!
So with around two hours of work in total, would $15-$20 (depending on how complex a bird's colors/markings/etc are.) be okay?
It's my first time doing anything like this so I'm not sure.
That sounds fair. Like I said, I would buy a couple if I had the money to spare. If you're still making them in the summer, I might be able to buy a couple then
Not entirely sure. Hoping to get a baby budgie from Lindsey sometime in the spring. I've sent in an application for one of her babies, I'm just waiting to hear back to see if it's possible! ^^
If it's not possible, I have some other options as well. So, we shall see!
Ah! Thank you! I'm currently waiting for the primer to dry. I accidentally messed up the primer twice so it now has three coats of primer. Then I'll probably have to sand it again. Whoops.
I have been trying to figure out how much shipping would be but my internet is not cooperating. x0x
I do a lot of sculpted also ... If you put them on the etsy site you could compare prices others do them for and the shipping ect
Also you should try doing some of that face painting art your so good at on paper or canvas - like I said I would love to buy one from you! They are too adorable!
Mm! I'll have to try and look at Etsy. I used up all the bandwidth for the internet so it's going dial up slow. Kind of unbearable. XD
Sorry I wasn't able to finish the tiny budgie yesterday. I ended up developing a 100.4 degree fever so all I ended up doing was curl up in my bathrobe and sleep.
