Ive been breeding for a while and this has been a good last few months for me. i have a flight cage full of beutiful babies of all sorts of colors and mutations. heres my question. I wasnt into trying to strive for certain colors but as of recent i am. but my parent birds produce colored babies that by all rights they shouldnt produce. i have a normal green paired with a opaline green and they produce an all white baby with one blue leg. and then there is my favorite pair. female blue full body greywing with a light green male and all they produce is lutinos. i finally got a chick from this clutch that was a different color but guess what. Its a white pied with a turquoise belly. Any ideas? Or do other breeders have this happen. as i said i wasnt into trying to produce colors cause my birds throw so many colors anyways but is there a way to predict what im gonna get.
