:budgie:I need help, I dont know what my parakeets hatchlings will look like! They still look young, Im not breeding them now male:is a sky blue with black markings female:is a plain yellow with light green markings together:

Your male is a normal sky blue. The female is a dilute but I'm not sure if she is green based or if she is a type 2 yellow face. A better picture would help

If the hen is green based the chicks will be mostly normal greens unless she is split for blue. If she is split for blue you'd get normal blue as well. The dilute mutation is recessive so to get dilutes the **** would have to be split for dilute.

If the hen is a type 2 yellow face the chicks would be about half each of yellow face blue and normal blue

Most birds have genes for other mutations so always expect some surprises

would you say shes spangle as well nev, as she has darker edges on the feathers?
