How old is he? One of my budgies had the same dishevelled, ratty look at the five month mark. Same loss of feathers just above the cere, too.
Budgie losing feathers on head
Hi everyone,
I would like some help before I take the budgie to the vets. I noticed today that my budgie has lost a lot of feathers on his head, his tail feather also looks a lot thinner. He does play with this mirror with beads on ALOT so I am not sure if he might of lost some feathers using that, he is molting or this might be an infection I would need to get some medication for or take him to the vets.
