I think your Pip is cobalt blue/violet dominant pied budgie. :)

I'm never good at seeing violet in photos, so I will agree and say cobalt dominant pied. Perhaps with violet factor. :) What a cutie!

I wondered that, too, but it looks like there's some splotchy white on his belly and usually, but not always, clearflights have a clear area up around the neck (in this case it'd be a white area), which I don't see on this bird. I have had a few dominant pieds that look just like clearflights because they had very little to no markings on their bellies at all. Dominant pieds are pretty common, so adding all that up, I made an assumption that this bird is a dominant pied. But, like I said in another post this evening, I've been wrong before. :D
