I'm new to identifying mutations and she stumps me.

Looks like you have it right :) But to be more spacific is saying she is a skyblue recessive pied :)

Yellow face recessive pied cobalt. Although the yellow has spread a little she is probably a type 1 yellow face

Well, she's literally yellow everywhere except the blue band. Given, it varies in intensity at spots, but I thought type II was the one that leached through the body...?

The ideal standard for mutant type 1 yellow face is no spread of yellow but in practice the yellow usually does spread a little especially into the white areas.

The yellow on a type 2 yellow face is usually a deeper shade and it will spread into the blue areas changing the colour
