Also, do you think Benny is older than Joon? He has no baby bars, but Joon still has some...
You got Beautiful BIRDS. Okay I know I am not funny :p Wait for atvchick, kate or nev. I would probably be wrong.
lol
Birds! I should have known that!
:D

Yeah, I figured Nev would know!
He's like a super-genious!
I think I'll have a go, but my mutation skills are very new, so I'm probably off with all of them!

Kiochi - Cobalt Spangle
Chihiro - YF1 Grey Opaline
Benny - Recessive Pied Clearwing
Joon - Skyblue Opaline Cinnamon (or maybe Greywing? :S)
Oh I thought you meant as in male or female.:) I'll leave the mutations to Nev!
I know male and femal pretty well. But thanks Pippins mom!
I'll leave the mutations to someone else but I'll say that both Benny and Joon are over 4 months. They've both gone threw their first molt
Oh yes, I know they are both over a year old.
Kiochi - Cobalt Spangle
Chihiro - YF1 Grey
Benny - Skyblue Recessive Pied YF2
Joon - Skyblue Opaline Cinnamon

i think i am right... but wait for nev to confirm...
hope this helps...
Erm.... Benny is yellow darlin'. ;)
Kiochi is a spangle cobalt
Chihiro is a type 1 yellow face grey
Benny is a type 2 yellow face recessive pied sky blue
Joon is an opaline cinnamon sky blue

Benny looks like an adult but, because of his mutation, he won't develop iris rings to help us guess his age. Joon appears to be about 3 or 4 months old
No, I'm telling you, these birds are over a year old. And how's benny blue...? *confused*

Benny is a type 2 yellow face and (as often happens with T2s) the yellow colour has "run" into the white making most of his body a lighter yellow than his face. His base colour is sky blue even though he has very little of it and what he has is also affected by the yellow "running". He is a blue based budgie so if he was mated to a blue or white he would produce blue chicks (some with yellow faces) but no green series chicks

Loon looks young because she has a very smooth white cere and her iris rings have not developed
Okay, that's a bit confusing! Yellow bird, yet blue!

And I'm sure they're both AT LEAST a year old now. Probably closer to 18 months.

Yellow and Blue makes Green right? ;)
I think he's trying to say that the yellow and the blue, is making his sea foam green colour, even if he only has a small amount as blue, it is he's base colour.

Did you get them from a breeder or a pet store? How do you know he's exact age? Looks quite young to me too, but i'm no expert.
I got them from a lady who bought them at Christmas time from a pet store. She was told they were adults when she bought them. Which I would say puts them at atleast a year old.
If anything, they are definatley at least 10 months old, as it is now September and they were bought in December.
Lila is three years old. She has a dark charcoal grey iris ring that you can't see unless you zoom with a camera. It's my avatar. That may be why she looks younger if you know she is older. I have found from researching and asking owners that some of them just do that even though it is not part of their mutation. I can't account for why she has never come into season. Although I will say Cindy Loo Who is just starting to get a bit of brown and is somewhere from 10 months to a year.
