What mutation is little Chiyo and Trevor?

Chiyo

Trevor

Also, I know they're only 3 months old and trying to sex them that young, but can you take a guess at what I got? Looks to me like two males, but Trevor has a purpleish blue cere, and Chiyo's is Pink. So is it possible that Chiyo is female? Because her chirping and squaking is softer than Trevor's huskier chirps.

AND! Is it normal for these spots on Trevor's beak?

They are both opaline but do you have a better picture of Chiyo, preferably a front and a back view, because I think he has another mutation as well. They are both male. The marks on Trevor's beak are normal, they'll disappear as he matures

Thanks for posting the pictures. The blue colour doesn't look quite normal for sky blue but I can't see another mutation other than opaline. Maybe it's the camera flash

opaline sky blue...
there seems to be a dark factor or a violet factor in Chiyo and Trevor...
and there seems to possibly also be a dilute mutation in there somewhere as well, but im not totally convinced...
what colour are the tails?
very cute tho! ;)

If the tail is black along with the blue cheek patches then they have a grey factor with the opaline sky blue. An opaline sky blue would usually have purplish cheek patches and a dark blue tail

Kiochi is a spangle cobalt
Chihiro is a type 1 yellow face grey
Benny is a type 2 yellow face recessive pied sky blue
Joon is an opaline cinnamon sky blue

Benny looks like an adult but, because of his mutation, he won't develop iris rings to help us guess his age. Joon appears to be about 3 or 4 months old
Sorry to bring up and old thread, but he DOES have iris rings. What does this mean...?

Single Factor dominant pieds usually develop a band of 'clear' feathers across their belly and over their flights and part of their wings. How much of the bird is affected can vary to quite a lot, to very little. "Clear" feathers in a green bird are yellow, in a blue bird they are white, and in a blue bird with YF2 the yellow can run through the body colour making the white appear lemon yellow.

For example single factor dominant pied green bird:

Note the clear band on the belly and wings, and see how this can sometimes be an odd shape or a very large shape:

Double factor dominant pieds can have vary little to almost no markings (are almost all "clear"):

Dominat pieds develop iris rings. RECESSIVE pieds do not develop iris rings and they usually have a clear chest with a normal coloured belly, and random amounts of wing/head markings - sometimes almost all present, sometimes almost none remain:

As he has iris rings he must be a double factor dominant pied. This means that both of his parents were dominant pieds and he has inherited a double dose of the mutation. It is the pink cere and the orange beak that makes him look like a recessive pied
