Thank you Lyn they look yummy. Copied and stored away in My Recipes. They may not have any added sugar, but there sure is plenty in the Caramel Condensed Milk.
That is alright Kate. Hardly any washing up to do either that is the best part.. With the Condensed Milk I never thought of that having sugar in it.....Oh well they are just a treat something different.. Kate you can eat these in the Staff lounge with Deb Randy and the others.. You might get a raise to. he he..

Despina the Caramel Condensed Milk has only been available here for a few years. Before that we used to make caramel out of the ordinary Sweetened Condensed Milk. I believe you call it NouNou. The company NoyNoy make it over there. You can even make it in the can. Here's how.

Immerse closed can on it's side in a pot of water and bring to the boil. Leave on a simmer or light boil for 2 to 2 and a half hours, topping up with water as needed. Be careful and don't let the water dry out or the can could explode. Remove from the heat and allow to cool thoroughly before opening can. Don't open the can while it is still hot. The condensed milk should be thick and a nice caramel colour.

You can even do it in a slow cooker. Again place it on its side in the slow cooker and cover with at least 3 inches of water. Cook on medium for 10 hours or on high for 7 hours. Let it get cold and then open the can and it should look like the above.

You do need to be very careful making it this way and there are other recipes out there for making caramel with condensed milk. Nestle have made it easy for us by putting out the product Top 'N' Fill which is the caramel condensed milk.

I want some too! I bet they are delicious! Unfortunately here I can't find this milk! :(
Despina is there anything else you can put in there instead of the caramel condensed Milk. You could try Caramel filling or something. But if you go to a major big Supermarket it should have Caramel Condensed Milk

Nothing exciting Despina. I just did a web search for Condensed Milk in Greece and found it there. Then looked up recipes for the caramel as that is how we used to make it before they brought out the Top N Fill over here to make it much easier for us.

I have always been a lover of caramel. Caramel Malted Milkshakes, Chocolate Caramel Slice, Caramel Sauce over ice cream to name a few.
