Ok, first of all, does this make sense? (it's for my website)

Sex-linked genes, such as INO, Cinnamon and Opaline are controlled by the sex of the parents when trying to breed more. Females can not be split for any sex-linked mutation. For example, male birds need a gene from each parent to be visually INO, but a female only needs one. If a female carries any sex-linked gene, she will show it, unless (this is where it gets complicated) she is INO, masking Opaline, which will only show if she is also Cinnamon and/or Texas Clearbody, which are the only genes that INO cannot mask.

And second, is this actually true or am I wrong with my percentages?

If a male budgie that is split INO is paired to a female that carries no sex-linked genes, all their female chicks be INO, and all their male chicks will be split for INO. If the female is a visual INO, and her male has no sex-linked genes, all the male chicks will be split for INO. If the father is split for INO and the mother is a visual INO, the chicks will all be visual INOs, and if both parents are visual INOs, all their chicks will be too.

Hello Alexis....ino hens are either ino or clearbody and cant mask it but clearbody males can carry ino....(( male budgie that is split INO is paired to a female that carries no sex-linked genes, all their female chicks be INO, and all their male chicks will be split for INO.)).....Male chicks will or will not be split for ino..your male is split not visual.
..(( If the father is split for INO and the mother is a visual INO, the chicks will all be visual INOs.))All chicks are not visual.Visual hens..visual males..and males split ino...father is a split...visual to visual gives all visual.
