My little chick has plum eyes. What mutation could he be.
Hes not lutino/albino as his eye lids were a greyish colour

I know cinnamons have plumish eyes but is there anything else?

Breeding is so exciting :D

Recessive Pieds or Cinnamons have plum eyes. Can you post a picture of it, I'd like to see the difference between plum and black eyes?

I'm fairly certain both parents need to be visually or split for recessive pied, to produce a recessive pied chick. What are the parents' mutations and splits?

The male is sky blue dominant pied.
And the hen is opaline green. But she is very blotchey so i think its possible that she could be split for recessive pied (so people tell me :p)
They both come from breeders, althought i got them from the pet shop 9if that makes sence) so they probably have nice blood lines:)

Edit: Ive taken pics but their really blurrey and you cant see the chick eyes.
But i had a closer look at chick 2 and her eyes are plumish too :D
