Kist is now eating some fruits and veggies, but the feathers around his face are stained. It was cute the first time, but it stayed stained and it is just getting worse each time he eats. He cleans his beak by rubbing it on his perches and I even saw him try different ones and he really worked on getting it off, but his feathers were still a little gunky. What can I do to help him out?

Jennifer,

If Kist doen't mind being handled, you can take a small soft cloth, dampen it with warm water and lightly stoke the feathers in the direction they grow to help him clean his face.

You can also provide him with a bath or, if he likes to be misted, you can mist him lightly.
The additional water may make it easier for him to clean the feathers himself.

He has a bath at the bottom of his cage that is changed daily but he has only used it once. Though he doesn't like to be handled I may need to just wipe his face, because he is just looking funky, lol.
