Is there a visual difference between a clearwing or a dilute? How do you know which is which?

The clearwing variety has very light wing markings and a bright body color. The dilute variety has washed out markings and also washed out body color. :)

Dilutes are so lightly marked that some people call them yellows and whites instead of dilutes. It is recessive to the other dilution genes (greywing, clearwing, FBC greywing) so you need 2 copies for it to show visually.
