Will a chicks color change as he ages? I have a yellow face colbalt male chick that I am hoping will look like his dad. Dad had the yellow mix with the blue part way down his belly giving him a seagrrenish tinge, yet keeping some of the blue. His son is just blu and young...will the yellow extend as he ages? Also the black spots, do they become more prominant as the bird ages?

The only way the yellow will bleed into the blue turning it sea green is if he's yellow face type 2 Like his dad, but if only his dad is the yellow face then he'd be yellow face type 1 and it won't bleed into the body color

they're at their "adult" colors normally at their 6 month molt.
