This pair of budgies have been set up to breed and have laid their first egg. The female is 2 1/2 years old and the male is 3. I would like to know what colour their chicks will be?

The female (She's just blue, maybe pied)

And the male here (He's just the normal wild colour, I think)

Opaline dominant pied cobalt hen & normal light green ****
If the **** bird is not split for blue or opaline you can expect
25% normal light green
25% normal dark green
25% dominant pied light green
25% dominant pied dark green
All males will be split for opaline

If the **** bird is split for blue
12.5% normal light green
12.5% normal dark green
12.5% dominant pied light green
12.5% dominant pied dark green
12.5% normal sky blue
12.5% normal cobalt
12.5% dominant pied sky blue
12.5% dominant pied cobalt

Are you sure of the hen's age? She doesn't look old enough to be breeding in that picture
