How do they work?

I mean it's a combo of two pieds and I forget which two. Clearflight and ?

Anyways... do these pied genes show up in the offspring?

Thanks.

Dark eyed clear is a combination of clearflight pied and recessive pied - this means that they are both mutations. The mutations are inherited the same way as they would be if they were on individual birds. If a DEC is mated to a normal that is not split for recessive pied you'd get 50% clearflight pied & 50% normal, all split for recessive pied. If a DEC was mated to a recessive pied you'd get 50% DEC & 50% recessive pied. If a DEC is mated to a normal that is split for recessive pied you'd get 25% each of dark eyed clear, recessive pied, clearflight pied and normal
