My dilute skyblue cinnamon boy is currently trying to win over my dark green normal girl. What mutations should their offspring be? Normals?

If the female isn't split blue, all babies will be green. Some birds will be cinnamon green (they will be hens).

Awesome! And I can't tell if she's split blue until the babies come, right?

If you don't know her parents, then there is no way of telling, but most green birds are split for blue nowadays.

Cool. She's super gorgeous just in her natural sort of jade green, and Pepper (the prospective baby daddy) is a big sweetheart, so I couldn't really care less about the coloration of the babies as long as they're anything like their parents!

Of course, I'm also always looking forward to surprises :) so here's another question: recessive pied cinnamon mauve x normal dark green = all normals and cinnamon normals?

I think I understand budgie genetics a little more now. Thanks for the insight!
