Drawing a B&G macaw

i took a risk and broke out the colored pencils :eek: i haven't used colored pencils in a long time, never mind actually trying to draw realistic animals with them!

so this is my first attempt to draw a realistic parrot ;)






taking a risk at shading!










the shape of the eye really bothers me :(

the shape of the parrot was a little off, but it came out ok for a first try. i really need to find a white colored pencil that will show up and i need to focus more on the feather details
