Hey everyone!

So, I spent last night and this morning drawing the handsome Indigo for Lyn. Here are the pictures of the original photo, the sketch, and then after I colored it. What do you all think?

Wow! Very nice! I like the sketch even better than the colored drawing, his wings look so beautiful in black and white.
I have never tried to draw my budgies, but now I really want to. I'll probably be disappointed though, your drawing is just too good

Have you ever seen a Bourke's Parakeet? I would love to see a drawing of my new addition... But I'd take decent pics first. She went for a run on the floor and a test flight of about 6 feet this morning! She's fledging, I suppose.

Anyhow, Bourke's are a tiny bit bigger than a budgie .... and she is pink, with yellow in her wings and grey along the edges. Her eyes are a deep ruby red.
