My guesses weren't right, in my case it's usually the females that make the mess when eating veggies/fruit. :D

yes she did, I got rid of it yesterday. she was due last night to lay another one and she didn't!! so hopefully we're are done with eggs

She's far too young for such a responsibility! :D I'm glad she hasn't laid more eggs and is done with the whole ordeal.
