Exceptions to the rule in sexing your male budgie
For easy reference here are the mutations in males that at adult hood do not have the typical blue ceres we often see.
All of the mutations except for double factor dominant pied will have a pink/purple cere when mature, not blue. They often do not change very much from the time they are a few weeks old through out their entire life.
