Sammy is quite like a toddler... any time he is out with me and I try to do something (type, eat breakfast, you name it), he is on top of whatever I have my hands on. So in order to distract him, I started putting on Disco the Parakeet's YouTube videos. Holy crow! Now I understand why parents put on the Disney channel so much!

Sammy is babbling like an experienced little guy! I haven't caught his best stuff on camera, but here's a video of the little guy chatting

Thanks, Deb! It's really funny. He went from "baby bird" "give me a kiss" and "whatcha doing" to full sentences after only a week of watching Disco regularly!

He's sitting on my shoulder right now repeating "Nobody puts baby bird in a corner. I'm a parakeet" over and over and over and over...

How cute, your Sammy was really on a roll! As he keeps on practising his words, his speech will get better and clearer too.
