I'm just curious how long it takes for a birds flight feathers to grow back after its been clipped. We have had Bojangles for well over a month now and when we bought him he was clipped but whats bothering me is they dont seem to be growing in yet and Im wondering if they possibly did it wrong and now they wont grow back.

They won't grow back until after he molts.
Has he had his baby molt yet? It will probably be the molt after the baby molt before they come in.
It sometimes takes 6 months after a budgie has been clipped before the flight feathers are fully back.

Thanks FaeryBee that makes me feel alot better about my little guy. He has not gone through a molt yet. I wasnt feeling very positive about it because Levi was clipped as well but his flight feathers have grown back and we have had them both the same amount of time (a day apart) I guess i wasnt taking the age difference into account and he was molting when we got him that makes total sense.:)
