Hey everyone. I've been seeing you guys using genetic terms such as 'Pied' or 'split to blue'
and 'spangle' and different ones. I was just wondering what these things are.

The genetic terms describe the various mutations. These mutations effect the color, the wing pattern or the other traits. The mutations are inherited in different ways according to whether they are dominant, recessive or sex-linked. The term split means that a bird has genes for a mutation but it can't be seen until the the bird breeds and the mutation shows in the chicks
