2) double factor Golden-faced cobait normal ???

3) double factor Golden-faced cobait normal ???

No, my rich-coloured golden-faced budgie is just a cobait, not a violet-cobait.

Can you please ask the members for help in how to tell difference between golden-faced and yellow-faced type 2nd.
I were puzzled about golden-faced budgies.

Are these violet Cobolt budgies they are beautiful.

My understanding is that the goldenface is a much deeper yellow than that of the yellow face. I find trying to guess these minor colour differences to be hard to ID from a photo, given all the variances with photos and screens. You seem to have a good selection of yellow faces to compare against the ones which you think are goldenface. It was once described to me as simply being a brighter, deeper, more yellow, yellow than that of the yellow face :)
