Congrats on your lovie!! I have an 18 week old lovie that I brought home at 5 weeks and she can't wait to get out every time I walk in the room!! Looking forward to reading about the adventures you have together!!
Your PF is pretty young with all that black on the beak! The best way for gender is to DNA. There are traits that female typically do more than males and vice verses but it's not a sure thing. The pelvic bone way doesn't work till they are about a yr old but that's not a positive either but can work if done by a lovie expert...but still no guarantee
Lovies are full of fiestiness and spunk! They get hormonal when molting and just because so watch out for that bite cause boy they sure have a good one! Mine hasn't drawn blood but her nip hurts! She will put me in my place if she doesn't like something! LOL! But she love to snuggle with me and will even lay in my hand on her back to get scratches the way she likes it!! PICKLES is goofy when playing with her toys ~ hanging upside down swinging and attacking all her toys!!!! Loves to takes baths in a pool of water with fresh whole basil leaves in it...throwing them over her head and nibbling on them as she fluttered around in the water!!
