Everyone asks where I got my grapevine perch/natural wooden bead swings.
The gentleman that made mine no longer sells them.
I'm providing instructions for those who wish to make their own. :)

Perch portion is made from dried safely harvested grapevine

Drill a hole in each end of the perch for the wire,

Both natural and colored wooden beads can be procured through Michaels Craft Store or other craft suppliers.
Thread the beads on heavy gauge stainless steel or aluminum wire.

Note: Aluminum is safe for budgies. However, many wires are anodized, or covered in a dangerous coating, for durability reasons. This is toxic to budgies and makes the wire harmful to their health!

If you choose to use aluminum wire, be sure to check the packaging to ensure it is non-anodized and if it doesn't say, contact the manufacturer to confirm.

Insert wire into holes drilled in perch, loop wire at bottom and insert back into perch for safety as shown in picture below:

Completed Swing

All my birds love these swings!
