Happy Valentine's Day!
These are all gifts from my mom
She got me this owl because they're probably my favorite birds of prey species. I also have a a white and blue one that I named Hedwig ^_^

She got me these because, aside from choclate, sour candy is my favorite

And she got be these because ever since I was little, I've loved marshmallows, even though she hates them

Love the owl, and peep's are my fav. My mother still gives me peep's every easter and I am a grandpa....

Thanks for the greetings, everyone! Kassy, you had a great Valentine's Day gift!
My husband had to work, but after he got off, we went for a quick trip to Alcalá de Henares (the town where Miguel de Cervantes was born). I studied 17th century novels for my doctorate, so it was really cool to see the house where he was born as well as the Archeological Museum!
Here's a picture of me hanging out with Don Quixote and Sancho Panza in front of the house where Cervantes was born:

Thanks he was fickle and didn't really mean it, just after he gave me that Valentine, he shacked up with a shameless little hussy hen. All it took was a wiggle of her long tail and a coo in his ear and he was all over her like a... well like a male tiel on a tiel hen in breeding season!! I am absolutely heartbroken. Now when he sees me he acts like he doesn't even know me!! Even as I type this he is in their little love nest sitting beside her as she sits on their one egg and is whispering sweet nothings into her ear... ohhh the heartbreak of a jilted love!!That is an adorable picture, ParrotletsRock!
