So this isn't that exciting other than me being overly proud of my 7yr old daughter. She has decided she likes to loom-knit and crochet too. In the last few weeks, she made the rainbow hat on a loom and the two little Aumigurumi fish with minimal assistance (tail was confusing at first). My son had to have a hat with ear-flaps (with out frog eyes as he is 12) so that was finished just in time for the rain to start today. Plus a couple other hats that will be gifts.

Bear, That's so cool! I tried to get my niece into crochet, but I think she's too busy, and waaaay too into her phone at this point to be super interested in sitting down to crochet for a while. The 2 little fish are very impressive, and the fact that she wanted to finish her projects instead of playing with a friend really says a lot about her. Well done, well done indeed!!!

:D Thank you both. She is defiantly not the average kid. I know most parents are very proud of their children, and I'll admit to that, but she is definitely more bright than I could have hoped for.
She has always been an over achiever even as a baby. She recently got upset with her teacher, this year, at school because the teacher didn't have time to give her harder work all the time. So we supplement with work books from the next grade up (at my daughters request) :roflwerd:
