Hey, one of my parakeets were bitten by a cat through his cage, he seems to be doing ok, just lifting his wing a bit, but my last budgie that was bitten died a day later. He has a wound about a dimes size under his wing but it's not bleeding; I sprayed some rubbing alcohol mixed with a bit of water on it. My parents wont bring me to a vet, and since I don't have my license yet, im not sure what to do. Please help!

Call the avian vet for an emergency appointment.
Have the avian vet explain to your parents why a cat bite is an emergency for a bird.
If they still do not want to take you: Call a friend to drive you, call a cab, get on your bike, walk, crawl, whatever, but get there.

I can try, but the nearest avian vet is an hour and a half away and my parents would not let me go alone.
