lately i have been more curious of what coloring butch and lenny have. i know butch is a clear fight pied (not the boldest pie pattern, but still pied). and i know lenny is pied too but i want to say that he is a recessive pied because of the patch of color near his bottom, shown here (click of recessive pied) :

here is the front/ side/ and back of butch and the front/ side /back of lenny
(lenny has a darker- and more beautiful- blue on his back than the front)

Butch is a single factor dominant pied sky blue. All pied budgies have white wing feathers, if he was clearflight there would be very little white, if any, on his belly. Butch has got the characteristic belly band of a dominant pied.

Lenny is a double factor dominant pied cobalt (possibly violet, in some of the photos he looks more purple than in others). I know he's dominant pied, not recessive pied, because he has a blue cere. Recessive pied males have a pink cere throughout their life. He's double factor because he is heavily pied.

thanks! i always had a feeling that lenny was a double factor, but looking at the pic on the website i added, he did not appear to be one. but also looking at the dominant pied single factors, he looks a lot like the grey one they showed:
