OMG so sweet! Wait till you hear their ear piercing contact call, you would not think such a small sweet bird could produce it. One of mine can be sitting on my shoulder and start calling and it's very loud 😵 where's the earplugs!

I work for a pro audio company, so I have ample access to good ear protection 😁

Mama has started laying, so I’m on the list for a blue male if it happens (prefer cobalt to turquoise, but I’ll take either).

And wee man had his first crack at some sprouts and grains.

They get to go to a cage during the day for playtime now, and then back to the brooder at night.
